Use A121™ when an owner expects to hire the same contractor across multiple future projects and wants a single Master Agreement governing all engagements.
What It Does
A121 is a Master Agreement establishing the common terms and conditions applicable to all future owner-contractor Work Orders. Individual A221 Work Orders are then issued for each project, reducing negotiation overhead while preserving flexibility to define each project's specific scope and price. A121 supports stipulated sum, cost-plus, and GMP payment methods.
Additional Information
A121 contains no project-specific scope on its own; scope is defined entirely through A221 Work Orders.
