Use G706A™ when an owner requires the contractor to provide evidence that subcontractors, suppliers, and others have released their lien rights before final payment is made.
What It Does
G706A supports G706, Contractor Affidavit of Payment, when the owner requires a sworn statement from the contractor confirming that all releases or waivers of liens have been received. It gives owners additional assurance that the project is lien-free, protecting against post-payment disputes that could cloud the property title. The lien waiver documents should be attached directly to the G706A when submitted.
