Use G901™ when a contractor is required to provide a conditional lien waiver for progress payment on a project not subject to state-specific lien waiver statutes.
What It Does
G901 conditionally waives and releases the contractor’s rights to assert a lien or payment bond claim for work performed on the project through a specific date. It releases lien rights contingent on actual receipt of the payment, protecting contractors by ensuring claims are not released until funds clear. Rights listed under Exceptions in the document are retained.
