When To Use
Use G732™ when a contractor on a CMa project needs to apply for a progress payment. It is prepared by the contractor as required by the General Conditions.
What It Does
G732 provides contractors with a structured format for requesting progress payments. Both the CMa and architects will certify the amounts due, indicating to the owner that payment is due. The contractor documents the status of the contract sum to date, including work completed and stored, retainage, previous payments, change order summary, and the current amount requested. It pairs with the G703 Continuation Sheet, which breaks the contract sum into portions of the work in accordance with a schedule of values.
