When To Use
Use C198™ when a Single Purpose Entity’s LLC formed under C195 needs to hire a consultant to provide professional services to the IPD project. This document is suitable for large-scale projects.
What It Does
C198 is an agreement between a single-purpose entity (SPE) formed under C195 and a consultant. The specific services required from the consultant should be listed in the Integrated Scope of Services Matrix, which is included in the C195 Target Cost Amendment and incorporated into the executed C197 agreement.
In addition to traditional compensation for services, C198 allows the consultant to receive additional profit through incentive and goal achievement compensation.
