When To Use
Use E402™ when building information models will be shared solely within the construction team. Attach this exhibit to contractor and subcontractor agreements throughout the Project. This document is suitable for any size project.
What It Does
E402 is intended for use when building information models (BIM) will be shared solely within the Construction Team: Contractor, its Subcontractors, and Sub-subcontractors, including fabricators, at any tier. E402 anticipates a more “siloed” approach to Modeling, in which the Construction Team creates and distributes Models only within the Construction Team, and those Models are not intended to be shared with the Owner or any member of the Design Team.
