When To Use
Use E204™ when a project has a sustainability objective, such as LEED certification, and the parties' specific responsibilities for achieving that goal need to be formally defined. It attaches to an existing agreement, integrating environmental obligations into the project's contractual structure across various delivery methods.
What It Does
E204 has been developed for use on a wide variety of sustainable projects, including those in which the Sustainable Objective includes obtaining a Sustainability Certification, such as LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), or those in which the Sustainable Objective is based on incorporating performance-based sustainable design or construction elements. E204 addresses the risks, responsibilities, and opportunities unique to projects with a sustainable design and construction objective.
