C204 is a scope-of-services document for a consultant, who may be an architect or non-architect, specializing in sustainability. The consultant coordinates certification activities, conducts sustainability workshops, prepares a sustainability plan, and assists during procurement and construction. It addresses the risks, responsibilities, and opportunities unique to projects involving substantial elements of sustainable design and construction.
