When To Use
Use A304™ when an owner wants to solicit and compare contractors’ qualifications before inviting bids or awarding a contract. Requesters may use A304 to provide initial project information in support of their request for the A305 form.
What It Does
A304 is a form inviting contractors to submit A305, the Contractor’s Qualification Statement. A304 allows requesters to provide general information about the project, the intended form of agreement, project delivery method, any prequalification conferences, submission requirements, and details on the contractor selection process.
Additional Information
A304 can also be used to request the A305 from subcontractors and suppliers.
