When To Use
Use A305™ when an owner needs to verify a contractor's qualifications before requesting bids or awarding a contract. It is completed by the contractor in response to an owner's A304 request.
What It Does
A305 provides contractors with a standardized format for submitting a sworn, notarized statement, with attachments covering background, references, financial stability, bonding capacity, key personnel, and project experience. This statement gives owners and architects a consistent basis for evaluating qualifications before issuing a bid invitation or awarding a negotiated contract.
