When To Use
G745™ – 2024 is the current version aligned with the 2024 design-build document family. Use G745 when the owner needs to direct a change to the work on a design-build project before the owner and design-builder have reached agreement on the price or time adjustment, so construction can continue without delay.
What It Does
G745 directs changes on design-build projects. The design-builder must proceed upon receipt, unless building codes or health, safety, or welfare requirements preclude the change. It gives owners the authority to keep construction moving while protecting design-builders by formally documenting the change for future time and pricing negotiation.
