A441™-2024 is the current version aligned with the 2024 design-build document family. Use A441 when a design-builder needs to subcontract a portion of the work on any size design-build project.
What It Does
A441 establishes the contractual relationship between contractor and subcontractor on design-build projects, clearly defining the subcontractor’s scope of work. A441 flows down relevant provisions from the prime design-build agreement. It incorporates by reference the terms and conditions of A142. Because design-build subcontractors often provide professional services, A441 accommodates that possibility.
