What It Does
G701S implements agreed changes at the subcontract level. Execution indicates agreement on all terms of the change, including any adjustments to the subcontract sum (or guaranteed maximum price) and contract time. The form provides space for the signatures of the contractor and subcontractor, as well as a complete description of the change. It protects contractors and subcontractors from disputes as the work scope evolves.
