When To Use
Use B132™ SCOSE exclusively on large South Carolina Office of the State Engineer projects where a construction manager is serving as an advisor.
What It Does
B132 SCOSE is a standard form of agreement between owner and architect. It is coordinated with C132 SCOSE, under which the construction manager serves as an independent Advisor to the owner throughout the project. Both documents are based on the premise that one or more separate construction contractors will also contract directly with the owner, with those contracts jointly administered by the architect and construction manager under A232 SCOSE General Conditions, CMa Edition.
