Use B132™ for large projects where a construction manager serves as an advisor and the architect's scope needs to be adjusted to reflect the shared administration structure of CMa delivery.
What It Does
B132 is a standard form of agreement between the owner and the architect for building projects in which construction management services are provided under a separate contract with the owner. It is coordinated with C132, under which the construction manager serves as an independent advisor to the owner throughout the project. Both documents are based on the premise that multiple construction contractors will contract directly with the owner, with those contracts administered jointly by the architect and construction manager under A232 General Conditions, CMa Edition.
