When To Use
Use B105™ on small projects with brief durations, where a lightweight short-form agreement is more appropriate than a full-length B101.
What It Does
B105 provides a short-form owner-architect agreement that gives owners and architects a complete but proportional agreement for modest residential or small commercial work. It covers essential scope and compensation obligations. Its contents are more abbreviated and informally formatted than other AIA agreements.
Additional Information
B105 incorporates A105 by reference. Together, they make up the Small Projects contract family, which should NOT be combined with other AIA document families without careful side-by-side comparison of contents.
