What It Does
A481 establishes the contractual relationship between the construction manager and the modular subcontractor for volumetric modular construction projects. This agreement addresses fabrication, delivery, and installation of prefabricated modules; coordination of pre-design and preconstruction services; compensation; and insurance and bond requirements. A481 gives both parties a framework for managing the unique coordination, inspection, and site integration requirements that modular delivery demands.
