What It Does
A421 establishes common terms and conditions governing the contractor-subcontractor relationship, with A422 Work Orders issued for each engagement. It provides contractors and subcontractors who regularly work together with a consistent contractual foundation that eliminates repetitive negotiations while preserving flexibility on each project. Individual A422 Work Orders specify the scope, subcontract time, and subcontract sum for each engagement.
