When To Use
Use A195™ for projects using transitional Integrated Project Delivery. Under this delivery method, the owner and contractor need a contractual structure in which the parties share risk and reward while working toward jointly defined project goals.
What It Does
A195 establishes the owner-contractor agreement for projects using transitional Integrated Project Delivery. It provides the business terms unique to the relationship, such as compensation and licensing of instruments of service. It incorporates A295 General Conditions by reference, which defines the contractor's full scope of services across all six project phases. Under A195, the contractor provides a guaranteed maximum price, included in Exhibit A.
