Use A135™ when an owner wants a collaborative, integrated delivery approach with a single, accountable construction manager as constructor (CMc). Under A135, payment is based on the cost of the work plus a fee with a Guaranteed Maximum Price, to provide cost protection.
What It Does
A135 establishes the agreement between the owner and the Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc) for projects where the owner, CMc, and architect prefer a more collaborative delivery approach than traditional methods. Collaborative delivery leverages the expertise of all parties throughout the preconstruction, design, and construction phases to drive project success.
