When To Use
Use G735™ to commence the construction phase of the project only for the Early Release Work, before the full construction contract is finalized. This document is suitable for any size project.
What It Does
G735 authorizes the CM Constructor to begin a smaller, predetermined portion of the project before the GMP or Control Estimate for the full work has been agreed. It allows the owner and CMc to define the scope, schedule, compensation, insurance, and bonds for the early-release work. It provides both parties with a formal document to accelerate critical items while protecting each party by clearly scoping the authorized work.
