When To Use
Use G802™ RI when the parties need to formally amend an AIA owner-architect agreement on State of Rhode Island projects. This document is suitable for any size project.
What It Does
G802 RI is used to amend AIA owner-architect agreements. The amendment documents changes to the architect's scope, compensation, or other terms without reissuing the full contract. It can also be used to attach a scope-of-services exhibit to an existing agreement. It provides both parties with a streamlined amendment process that preserves the original agreement while creating a legally recognized record of every modification.
Additional Information
Intended only for Rhode Island projects. AIA's publication does not constitute endorsement of the RI modifications. View the G802 RI comparative guide here.
