When To Use
Architects should use G710™ to provide contractors and owners with a formal written record of field-level adjustments that preserves the integrity of project documents without requiring a full change order.
What It Does
G710 enables the architect to issue supplemental instructions, clarify documents, or order minor changes to the work that do not affect the contract sum or time. It assists the architect in performing its obligations as interpreter of the contract documents in accordance with the owner/architect agreement and the general conditions of the contract for construction. G710 should not be used to change the contract sum or contract time.
