When To Use
Use C205™ when an owner is hiring a consultant to provide regional or urban planning services across four defined phases; attach this scope document to the C103 owner-consultant agreement, its required companion, or as an addendum. This document is suitable for large-scale planning engagements.
What It Does
C205 defines the regional or urban planning consultant's scope in four phases: Inventory, Research, and Data Gathering; Analysis, Assessment, and Recommendation; Plan Concepts; and Plan Finalization. The consultant provides only the services that are specifically designated in the list of subsections within each phase. It can be used to hire architects or planning professionals from other backgrounds.
Additional Information
- Not a stand-alone document; must be attached to an existing agreement.
- C205 replaces B212–2010, Standard Form of Architect’s Services: Regional or Urban Planning.
