When To Use
Use B221™ when an owner and architect have an existing B121 Master Agreement that establishes common terms and conditions and needs to authorize a specific project engagement.
What It Does
B221 is a Service Order that issues a specific scope of services, schedule, and fee for a specific engagement, under an established B121 Master Agreement. Use of B221 plus a Master Agreement creates a Service Agreement that includes both the terms and the scope of services. It gives owners and architects with an ongoing relationship a streamlined way to engage in new projects without renegotiating master terms, keeping each new engagement consistently governed.
Additional Information
Not a stand-alone agreement; must be used in conjunction with B121.
