When To Use
Use G612™ Part B when the architect needs to formally capture the owner's instructions regarding bidding procedures before soliciting bids. Part B should follow Part A, after the contract documents have been developed.
What It Does
G612 Part B captures the owner's instructions about bidding procedures, including pre-qualification requirements, bid form format, and bond requirements. Part B is completed as the contract documents are further developed, after Part A responses have shaped the overall project delivery structure. It provides architects with a written basis for organizing the competitive bidding process to reflect the owner's priorities and requirements.
Additional Information
G612 is a two-part questionnaire.
