Use E242™ for design-build projects where building information models will be shared among all project participants, but no model versions will be enumerated in the contract documents.
What It Does
E242 serves as an exhibit for sharing building information models on design-build projects. E242 aligns the team around Model uses, sharing, and reliance. It also includes terms for BIM and digital data insurance risks, as well as non-BIM digital data. E242 requires project participants to complete and adhere to a BIM Execution Plan, such as G203.
