When To Use
Use C102™ when multiple firms are forming a team to submit a proposal for a shared project opportunity.
What It Does
C102 allows multiple companies or professionals from different disciplines to work together as a team to submit a proposal for a project opportunity. One party acts as the team manager and enters into separate agreements with each team member. If the team is awarded the project, the team manager contracts directly with the owner, and the pre-negotiated agreements between the team manager and each team member become effective. At that point, the C102 teaming agreement ends and is consolidated into an Exhibit A of the C102 agreement between the team manager and owner.
Additional Information
C102 is not limited to use within a single project delivery method and can be used for responses to requests for proposals, design competitions, design-build competitions, or public/private partnerships.
