When To Use
Use B106™ when an architect is providing professional services at no cost, typically for a nonprofit or community benefit organization. The architect must receive no financial compensation, other than for reimbursable expenses, to use this agreement.
What It Does
This complementary B106 is a standard owner-architect agreement for building design, construction contract administration, or other professional services provided on a pro bono basis. It provides a table format for designating the scope of pro bono services and the maximum number of hours per service. It gives both parties a framework that addresses professional obligations, liability limitations, and intellectual property protections appropriate for pro bono engagements.
